Arkadiusz Milik’s wages are proving to be very high, amid rumours that he could move to Tottenham Hotspur, Football London suggest.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for the Napoli striker, but he would be a more expensive recruit than many of their other options.
While Tottenham may not have to fork out a massive fee for to sign the Polish international from Napoli, his salary would be expensive.
Milik is said to be on more money than all of the rest of Tottneham’s targets, which could put the move in some doubt.
Milik would likely only arrive at Tottenham as back-up to Harry Kane, so the North London club surely wouldn’t want to pay huge wages to a player destined to spend a lot of time on the bench.

The Daily Express do suggest that Spurs are ready to move for Milik though, so it could be interesting to see whether a bid is made by Jose Mourinho’s side in the near future.
Milik scored 11 goals in Serie A last term, and would be a very solid option for Tottenham to have as a second choice striker.
