Tottenham Hotspur central defender Cristian Romero was training with intensity at Hotspur Way on Monday ahead of the UEFA Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon this week, according to Football.London.
Cristian Romero’s intensity in Tottenham Hotspur training
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham will take on Portuguese giants Sporting away from home in Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The Tottenham players were training at Hotspur Way today ahead of the game.
One of the Spurs players spotted in training today was star defender Cristian Romero.

According to Football.London, Romero did not enjoy being in the middle of the circle of a rondo and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
The report has added that “following Brandon Austin’s pass to Bissouma, the Argentina international slide right in like it was a match situation to win the ball ahead of his teammate to get himself out of the middle in the process’.
“While some players may not replicate match intensity in training, Romero most definitely trains how he plays,” added the report in Football.London.
Important player for Spurs
In our view, Cristian Romero is one of the best players at Tottenham Hotspur and has been superb for the North London club in central defence.
The 24-year-old centre-back was a huge figure in Spurs finishing in the top four of the Premier League table last season.
The Argentina international centre-back is a leader at the back and can also drive the team forward.
Romero does not like to lose and is always very intense on the pitch, and, it seems, in training sessions as well.
