According to 90min, Wolves’ intent to secure the futures of their key men has been key to convincing Adama Traore to sign a contract extension.
The report adds that Wolves’ efforts in tying down talismanic striker Raul Jimenez and head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has impacted Traore’s decision, and an announcement will happen soon.
It is also said that the former Barcelona winger will earn over £100,000-a-week on his new four-year contract, which will double his old salary.
90min deliver more information in the report, revealing that Liverpool and Barcelona were interested in the Spain international who was considering his options amid the interest in his services.
Traore is yet to score or assist a goal this season in six appearances, although there’s no denying his importance to the Midlands-based side.

He netted six goals and registered 12 assists in all competitions last term, as Wolves reached the Europa League quarter-final before losing to eventual winners Sevilla.
Tying Traore down so shortly after securing Nuno and Jimenez’s futures would be excellent news for Wolves.

The club looks set for a bright future having also signed young prodigies such as Fabio Silva and Ki-Jana Hoever.
Both of whom are just 18 years of age, and look to have bright futures in the game.
