Four months after leaving Rangers, Jon Flanagan seems to have finally found a new home.
Flanagan was one of Steven Gerrard’s first signings as Rangers manager, reuniting with his former Liverpool teammate at Ibrox.
And, according to The Herald, Flanagan’s next stop will be Royal Charleroi SC, the surprise Belgian Pro League leaders.
It is claimed the Liverpudlian has already held talks and undergone a medical with the club who also employ the rumoured former Rangers target Saido Berahino.
And the newspaper adds that he is expected to clinch a move this week, after links to Fleetwood Town and Amiens SC earlier this year.
Rangers have promoted Nathan Patterson and recruited Calvin Bassey to replace Flanagan as cover for their first-choice full-backs James Tavernier and Borna Barisic.

Bassey, in particular, has impressed when called on at left-back this season.
