According to Football.London, Arsenal central defender Pablo Mari was cajoling his teammates and encouraging them to follow Mikel Arteta’s plan against Everton.
Arsenal suffered a 1-0 defeat to Everton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Defender Mari was one of the very few Arsenal players who did well, and, Football.London has reported that throughout the game, he ‘cajoled’ his teammates.
The report has added that the 27-year-old central defender was encouraging his Arsenal teammates to follow Arteta’s ‘game plan to a tee’ and wanted the team to push higher up in the pitch in the first half.
Leader
Mari was leading from the back, and his determination and desperation to see his Arsenal players follow Arteta’s plan is laudable.

Arsenal have a number of young player, such as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, and they need someone to look up and take advice from on the pitch.
Mari has had injury problems at Arsenal, but the Spaniard is now fit and playing well. The 27-year-old is an asset for manager Arteta.
