Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers had wanted to sign Oliver McBurnie, but he is set to move elsewhere.

According to the Scottish Sun, Oliver McBurnie is set to join Leeds United, and that should concern Glasgow Rangers fans.
Rangers have been linked with McBurnie for some time now, and McBurnie is set to turn down a new contract at Swansea in favour of a summer move.
He still has a year to run on his current deal which expires in 2019.
But the 21-year-old is said to have picked Leeds over Rangers – if he is granted the chance to move by Swansea, and that must cause some concern for the Ibrox side.

McBurnie is a huge Rangers fan, with a big affinity towards the club, and if they cannot convince him to sign for them, then what chance do they have of attracting the calibre of players required to challenge Celtic?
Leeds may be a big club, but they have finished in mid-table in the Championship this term, and are unlikely to be among the favourites for promotion next season.
Yet, Rangers have failed to convince McBurnie that Ibrox would be the right place to move – despite the striker’s links to the Light Blues.

McBurnie now reportedly has his heart set on a move to Leeds, leaving Rangers having to look elsewhere for potential strike targets
That has to be considered a concerning start to the transfer window for Rangers, as they really need players of McBurnie’s quality to sign up, if they are to start competing for the league title.
And if Rangers cannot even convince their own supporters to sign right now, there must be a worry that they will face even more rejection this summer.
