According to De Gelderlander, Celtic will miss out on goalkeeper Ofir Marciano as he prepares to sign for Feyenoord instead.
What’s the story?
It’s claimed that Feyenoord are close to striking an agreement with Marciano, landing him on a free transfer.
The Dutch side wanted additional competition for their promising young goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, without breaking the bank.
Nick Marsman has left the club, and Marciano is seen as the ideal player to come in and offer cover for Bijlow.
The 31-year-old is out of contract this summer and can now move to Rotterdam for free after five years with Hibs.
Celtic miss out on Marciano
Edinburgh Live reported in March that Celtic wanted to sign Marciano on a free transfer this summer to boost their goalkeeping options.

Celtic have an extensive history with Marciano’s agent Dudu Dahan, and with Vasilis Barkas failing to impress last season, signing a proven Scottish Premiership goalkeeper in Marciano made sense.
Celtic have a new manager in place now though in Ange Postecoglou, and their targets may have changed since his appointment.
Whether Marciano is still on the radar or not, it looks like he’s set to sign for Feyenoord instead, a side Celtic fans will be familiar with from the likes of Henrik Larsson, Pierre van Hooijdonk and Bobby Petta, who all played for the Rotterdam side as well as Celtic.
