According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur will give Ryan Sessegnon some playing time in their Under-23’s ahead of a debut for the club.

Sessegnon joined Spurs from Fulham for £25million on deadline day in August, but arrived with an injury sustained for England during the Under-21 European Championships.

The 19-year-old hasn’t yet made his Spurs debut having suffered a setback in his recovery, and he won’t be involved against Watford this weekend either.

It’s now believed that whilst Sessegnon won’t be ready for Friday’s Under-21 game against Leicester City, he will be in contention for their games against Wolves later this month and Arsenal at the beginning of November.

That’s a major boost for Spurs, with Sessegnon ramping up his comeback ahead of potentially making his first-team debut next month – and Spurs may well see Juan Foyth back this weekend too.

Foyth, 21, suffered an ankle injury against Bayern Munich in pre-season, and is now back in action having featured for Argentina over the international break.

Primarily a centre back, Foyth has been identified as a potential solution at right back, and it’s claimed that he is in line to play there against Watford this weekend in what would be his first Spurs appearance of the campaign.

With Giovani Lo Celso coming back soon too, Spurs will have plenty of options for Mauricio Pochettino to pick from, which will hopefully spark an upturn in results and performances.
