Everton are reportedly set to sign Brazilian winger Richarlison.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton will sign Watford forward Richarlison instead of Bordeaux’s Malcom rather than both, with the latter only seen as a fallback option.
The Toffees have yet to make a new signing this summer, and fans have been growing agitated as the club attempt to bring in new faces ahead of the Premier League season kicking off.
However, movement has been made in the last 48 hours, as Watford attacker Richarlison is all set for a move to Goodison Park, believed to be worth a whopping £44million.
The Daily Mail report that Richarlison will undergo a medical with Everton on Monday, but they also note that the club’s interest in Malcom will subside amid speculation linking the Bordeaux man with a move to Merseyside.
Everton held talks about signing Malcom earlier this week in a blockbuster move, but it’s claimed that he was just a precaution in case they couldn’t land fellow Brazilian Richarlison.
That decision may cause some surprise among Everton fans. Richarlison is clearly a favourite of new Everton boss Marco Silva having worked together with great effect at Watford last season, as the forward hit five goals and four assists in his first 17 Premier League games under Silva.

However, Richarlison then struggled massively after Silva’s sacking in January, and Everton fans may have concern that he can recapture his form even with Silva managing him once again.
On the other hand, fellow Brazilian winger Malcom hit 12 goals and seven assists in 35 games last term, and paying a greater fee for Richarlison than the exciting Bordeaux star could be questionable decision.
