According to Bild, Bayern Munich will not be looking to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min this summer, and it’s just games being played by his agents.

There have been pretty unsubstantiated concerns over the last week that Son would be making a return to Germany, with Bayern looking to bring him back to the Bundesliga.

Now though, Bild claim this won’t be happening and that Son just isn’t on their radar ahead of the summer, especially as they already have the likes of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Jamal Musiala.

Instead, the murmurings of a move to Bayern are thought to be games being played by Son’s agent in an attempt to get a new deal with Tottenham over the line.

Spurs have been hoping to tie down Son to a new deal for months now, with Jose Mourinho predicting back in December that a deal would be done.

As we begin April though, that deal still hasn’t been done, and The Telegraph’s claim that talks stalled due to a change of agent won’t leave fans feeling too great about the situation.

Son, a £22million signing from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, has become a fan favourite at Tottenham in recent times, and has excelled this term with 18 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.

The South Korean is loved at Tottenham, but as he approaches his 30’s, he will want paying like a star – and whilst Bayern may not be interested, others surely will be if Spurs can’t find an agreement soon.
