According to the Manchester Evening News, Son Heung-min has been surprisingly included in Tottenham Hotspur’s squad to face Manchester United today.

Son picked up a hamstring injury against Newcastle United last week, which Jose Mourinho suggested would keep him out ‘for a while’.

The South Korean then missed games against Chelsea and Maccabi Haifa, but Mourinho has been hinted for a few days now that Son couldn’t be ruled out of the United clash.

Now, the MEN carry photos of Son leaving Tottenham’s team coach after they arrived in Manchester ahead of today’s game.

Son is now in the squad for the game and could make a shock appearance, which would most likely be from the bench as Spurs look to prevent re-injury.

The report also notes that new signing Carlos Vinicius is in the squad, despite only completing his move from Benfica on Friday.

The Brazilian hitman could offer a physical threat from the bench if Tottenham are chasing the game, but he hasn’t had much time to work with his new teammates.

After carefully juggling his attack this week, Mourinho may now have two dangerous players on his bench in Son and Vinicius, bolstering Tottenham’s attack exponentially.
