Arsenal may be in the market for another striker this year, and a new report has given them something of a boost.

Alexandre Lacazette is now 29 and could leave for free in 2022, so having potential strikers for the future lined up would be ideal.

One of the names recently linked is Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, with Football.London noting in October that he has been a serious target for the Gunners.

Edu appears to be a fan of Edouard, who looks to be coming to the end of his time at Celtic having hit 72 goals in 151 games for the Bhoys, whilst also racking up 35 assists.

The 22-year-old is a superb all-round striker; he’s big and physical, he’s quick, he’s a threat from set pieces, he can drop deep and link play – attributes that Arsenal lack as a package in any one forward.

Now, The Scottish Sun report that Edouard has switched agency, and is now represented by Stellar, the agency that carry the likes of Gareth Bale and Jack Grealish.

What’s interesting though is that Stellar have strong ties to Arsenal, with their of their players currently on the books at the Emirates Stadium.

Goalkeeper Runar Runarsson and defender Rob Holding are both Stellar clients, as is defender Kieran Tierney – who made the move from Celtic to Arsenal in 2019 – meaning a reunion could take place at the Emirates Stadium.

Edouard could now follow suit, and switching to agency who know Arsenal well will only leave Gunners fans thinking that signing the Frenchman is a real possibility in 2021.
