According to The New York Times, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy sent a message of regret to the 14 clubs of the Premier League who were not part of the European Super League.
The report has claimed that Spurs chairman Levy asked Brighton and Hove Albion chief executive Paul Barber to share a message of regret at the meeting between the 14 clubs following the decision of the ‘Big Six’ to join the European Super League.
Although Barber passed on the message from Levy, according to the report, ‘few seemed interested’ in the sentiment of Spurs chairman.
What now for Tottenham Hotspur?
With the European Super League having collapsed, it will be interesting to see what happens with Tottenham and the other five English clubs.

While some would suggest that the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal should be strongly punished, others will say that any repercussions would only make those clubs even more determined to break away in the future.
For now, Spurs should concentre on finishing in the Premier League top four and winning the EFL Cup final against Manchester City.
