Nuno Espirito Santo has big plans for Owen Otasowie at Wolverhampton Wanderers with the youngster excited about his future at Molineux, as reported by the Birmingham Mail.
There’s versatile – and then there’s Owen Otasowie.
Despite earning comparisons with Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba in his teenage years, the New York-born starlet has made a name for himself as a commanding central defender in Wolves’ U23 side.
But, since forcing his way on to the first-team roster, Otasowie has spent most of his time in an advanced midfield role, adding height and physicality in the opposition penalty area during the odd Premier League cameo.
So, whether a defender or midfielder, the USA international clearly has a role to play at Wolves with Nuno a firm admirer (Express & Star).

Otasowie is out of contract in summer 2022 but it would be a major surprise if the 6ft 2in powerhouse wasn’t handed fresh terms at Molineux.
According to the Birmingham Mail, the 20-year-old is “excited” about what Nuno has planned for him at Wolves.
And, while some may suggest Otasowie would benefit more from a loan spell away from the Premier League, all signs suggest the adaptable American will be looking to add to his tally of top-flight appearances in 2021/22.
