Nottingham Forest are stuck in limbo.
The future of Nottingham Forest appears no closer to being resolved, with fans still waiting for the takeover to go through.
It now seems a little less certain, with The Mail reporting the US consortium planning the move are getting frustrated about how talks are progressing.

The Mail‘s report blames actions of current owner Fawaz Al Hasawi, which have led to delays in the deal.
It states: “The American consortium who had been due to complete their takeover of Nottingham Forest long before this week’s home defeat by Barnsley are understood to be fast running out of patience with the Championship club’s Kuwaiti owner Fawaz Al Hasawi.
“John Jay Moores, former owner of Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres, and business partner Charles Noell have been in advanced talks about buying the club since last October but are now said to be exasperated with the unpredictable Al Hasawi ‘changing the goalposts on a daily basis’.”
The uncertainty is casting a shadow over Nottingham Forest, with doubts also existing over the future of manager Philippe Montanier.
New owners would want to consider bringing in their own manager, but as time drags on, their choice of appointment would be left with decreased time in the transfer market to shape the squad.

To compound matters, Forest are flirting dangerously with relegation, currently just two points above the drop zone.
The team have lost four consecutive matches, and have not won for over a month, their last win being the surprise victory over Newcastle on December 2.
