Both Nottingham Forest’s Jason Cummings and Leeds United’s Tyler Denton are set to stay out on loan for the rest of the season, according to the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

Forest and Leeds loaned the young pair to Peterborough United for the season, but there had been suggestions that they could return in January.

Cummings has sat on the bench regularly for Posh of late, while Denton appeared to be second choice in Steve Evan’s side up until recently.

However, Forest and Leeds are believed to be happy to keep their fringe players at the ABAX Stadium.

Cummings has been deemed surplus to requirements by Aitor Karanka, with his future at the City Ground now up in the air.

Denton, meanwhile, seems to have forced his way back into Posh’s team, with the Leeds youngster starting in Evans’ side 2-0 defeat to Scunthorpe United yesterday.

Posh are currently sat in seventh place in the League One table, one spot outside the play offs.
