Aston Villa are set to complete a deal for Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury.
According to a report in the Express and Star, Henri Lansbury is set to sign a contract worth £40,000-a-week at Aston Villa.
The claret and blues have reportedly agreed a £3 million fee with Nottingham Forest for the central midfielder.
Villa have been chasing Lansbury since the January transfer window opened, but some doubt emerged over whether the 26-year-old would complete a move yesterday.

Reports suggested that Forest were attempting to appoint Gary Rowett, who was desperate to keep Lansbury at the City Ground.
However, it seems that Lansbury’s transfer is on the verge of completion now, and the former Arsenal man will become one of Villa’s top earners.
Lansbury is set to be one of a number of additions which Villa make in the January transfer window, with Steve Bruce’s side having a large amount of money to invest.

Lansbury is expected to go straight into Villa’s first-team, when his transfer is officially announced.
Lansbury has scored six goals in 19 Championship appearances for Forest this season.
