Anel Ahmedhodzic is reportedly set to leave Nottingham Forest after making just one Championship appearance for the club.

Nottingham Forest defender Anel Ahmedhodzic is set for a return to Malmo in his native Sweden this month, according to the Nottingham Post.
The Bosnia-born teenager, who plays his international football for Sweden’s U19s, moved to the City Ground in 2016 from Malmo and made his first-team debut in a 3-1 defeat against Newcastle United just over two years ago.
But that remains his only league appearance in Forest colours. With a whole host of experienced defenders ahead of him in the pecking order, Ahmedhodzic has been included in a matchday squad just once this season, featuring on the bench in the FA Cup third round defeat to Chelsea.
As a result, the Nottingham Post reports that the 19-year-old is heading back to Malmo in search of more regular first-team football.

This comes shortly after Nottingham Forest sealed the signing of former Leicester City centre-back Yohan Benalouane, an addition that pushed Ahmedhodzic even further down the pecking order.
The Post adds that the Sarajevo native had a trial at Malmo in the summer and he is now expected to sign a contract with Uwe Rosler’s side.
