Filip Krovinovic is expected to leave West Bromwich Albion in January with Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest interested, as reported by the Telegraph.

Chris Hughton’s squad is chock-full of players who have been there and done it before.

Cyrus Christie, Anthony Knockaert, Lewis Grabban, Gaetan Bong and Harry Arter have all celebrated promotion to the Premier League in the past, and reports are now suggesting that Krovinovic could be the latest addition to a talented but underachieving squad.

The Croatian play-maker finished second in the Championship with West Brom last season, behind Leeds United in the automatic promotion positions.

But, while Krovinovic was a firm favourite of Slaven Bilic, it seems Sam Allardyce does not share his predecessor’s passion for the 25-year-old Benfica loanee.

Record claims that Krovinovic, who has played just 11 minutes of football since Allardyce took over at The Hawthorns, is keen to leave in search of more regular action – and the new Baggies boss will not stand in his way.

Greek giants PAOK are interested and, according to the Telegraph, goal-shy Forest are now in contention too.

The second-lowest goal-scorers in the Championship are crying out for an intelligent attacking midfielder capable of feeding a malnourished frontline.

Krovinovic could be key to getting the best out of Lewis Grabban or Lyle Taylor.
