According to reports from The Times, Nottingham Forest are looking to sign Jake Bidwell and Massimo Luongo from fellow Championship side, Queens Park Rangers, in the summer transfer window.

Last month, Evangelos Marinakis completed a £50 million takeover of Forest, and the new owners are looking to bolster the squad ahead of next season.

Forest narrowly avoided relegation to League One last season by defeating Ipswich Town on the final day of the season.

Mark Warburton is interested in signing Bidwell, who previously played under him at Brentford.

Bidwell, 24, started his career at Everton, and had a loan spell at Brentford before making a permanent move.

Last season, he made 36 appearances for QPR in the Championship. Championship rivals, Derby County, are also interested in signing him, and The Times claim that the player is likely to leave.

Forest are also looking to sign Luongo, who has been one of the star players for the Rangers.

The 24-year-old old Australian spent two years at Tottenham before joining Swindon Town in 2013. He moved to QPR in 2015, and since then has been a key player for them.
