Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen on striker Lawrence Shankland.

According to The Scottish Sun, Nottingham Forest are in the race to sign Ayr United striker Lawrence Shankland this summer.
Shankland, 23, struggled with Aberdeen before heading on to Ayr in 2017, and it’s a move which has completely changed his career.
The striker hit 29 goals in 33 games last season, and has been even better this term, smashing 30 goals in 30 outings for the Scottish Championship side.
Shankland has Ayr in a promotion race, but the problem for Ian McCall’s side is that the striker’s contract expires this summer, meaning he can move on for free.
A host of clubs have been linked, and The Scottish Sun note that Nottingham Forest have joined Hull City and Sunderland in the race for his signature.
Shankland worked with Sunderland boss Jack Ross at St Mirren, but the chance to join a huge Championship club in Forest could be too good to snub.

Forest already have Daryl Murphy, Lewis Grabban, Karim Ansarifard and Hillal Soudani, whilst there is a permanent option in loanee Leo Bonatini’s deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Adding another striker may not be a priority as a result, but boss Martin O’Neill – formerly of Celtic – will have eyes in Scotland, and Shankland could be a bargain addition for Forest.
