Discussions over a new contract for the Birmingham City man are said to have reached an impasse, with Nottingham Forest on the lookout for potential Henri Lansbury replacements.
Nottingham Forest are tracking David Davis’ situation at Birmingham City, according to the Daily Mail.
Negotiations over a new deal for the Blues midfielder are said to have reached an impasse and Cardiff City are reportedly weighing up a move.
Forest, though, look set to lose captain Henri Lansbury this month, which could prompt them to step up their interest once their transfer embargo is lifted.

Lansbury, who has scored six goals from central midfield this season, is out of contract in the summer and has been linked with a string of clubs, notably Celtic, Aston Villa and the Reds’ bitter rivals Derby County.
Ironically, Birmingham were one of the first to be linked with the 26-year-old in December, but could find themselves without either player come the end of the transfer window.

Davis has scored three goals for the Blues this season and is also out of contract at the end of the campaign.
The 25-year-old began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, before switching to St. Andrew’s in 2014.
Would Davis be a good signing for Nottingham Forest?
