Sunderland, Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers are among those being credited with interest in Nottingham Forest’s players.

The Daily Mirror (liveblog entry 15:15) has named three Nottingham Forest players – including a pair of Sunderland targets – in line to leave the club once Lewis Grabban’s arrival is confirmed, although the newspaper claims Ryan Yates could stay despite interest from Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers.

Grabban’s £6 million move to Forest is expected to go through imminently – making him summer signing number nine for Aitor Karanka’s side – after which the Reds will turn their attention towards balancing the books, according to the Daily Mirror.

And the newspaper claims defender Michael Mancienne, midfielder Jorge Grant* and striker Jason Cummings are among those who could depart.

HITC Sport understands Sunderland are one of several clubs keen on Grant, with the Daily Mirror’s report also listing the Mackems as Cummings suitors.

It is suggested, however, that Nottingham Forest have performed a U-turn over the immediate future of Yates, who signed a new three-year contract earlier this week.

The Daily Mirror had previously claimed that Forest had agreed to sanction another temporary exit for the midfielder, with Rotherham and Bolton lurking.

However, the newspaper reports that Yates has instead been invited onto the Reds’ Marbella training camp – although he could still depart should first team opportunities fail to materialise.
