Nottingham Forest have taken goalkeeper Markos Vellidis on trial, according to the Nottingham Post.
The 29-year-old left Greek side PAOK at the end of the January transfer window, enabling him to sign for another club before the end of the campaign.
Forest have struggled in goal this season, having sold Dorus de Vries to Celtic last summer.
And though internationals Vladimir Stojkovic and Stephen Henderson arrived in place of the Dutchman, both are currently nursing injuries, with the Irishman’s keeping him out until next season.
Third-choice Dimitar Evtimov is also sidelined, leaving youngster Jordan Smith to fill in for the trio – making his Football League debut in February.

However, should Vellidis impress Reds’ caretaker Gary Brazil, the once-capped Greece international could help to ease the club’s woes in that department.
The former Panathinaikos youngster was named the Greek Super League’s best goalkeeper as recently as 2014-15.
