Nottingham Forest have already been linked with a possible alternative to the Serbian.
Nottingham Forest’s Vladimir Stojkovic
Nottingham Forest are set to offload Vladimir Stojkovic a year before his contract expires, the Nottingham Post reports.
Goalkeeper Stojkovic arrived at the City Ground last summer as Dorus de Vries’ replacement, but struggled to impress in 21 appearances – only one of which came in 2017.
Despite being fit enough to play for his country during the March international break, the Serbian has yet to be named on any of Mark Warburton’s matchday squads, with academy product Jordan Smith favoured instead.

Forest, who also have Dimitar Evtimov and Stephen Henderson on their books, were linked with a move for Northampton’s Adam Smith this week [the Sun], leaving Stojkovic’s Trentside future looking bleak.
And it appears the two parties are set to reach an agreement which would allow the 33-year-old to be released from his contract early.

Forest must equal Blackburn’s result, or win and hope that Birmingham lose, when Ipswich visit the City Ground on Sunday, or face relegation to League One.
