Nottingham Forest are set to appoint Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs as their next manager.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Ryan Giggs is set to become Nottingham Forest’s next manager.
Forest have been on the look out for a permanent manager for over three months, following the departure of Dougie Freedman.
The Reds first went after Gus Poyet, but the Uruguayan turned them down in favour of Real Betis.

Forest’s search since has gone cold, but it seems that Fawaz Al-Hasawi has finally got his man.
Giggs was being lined up to take the Manchester United job in the future, but the Red Devils decision to overlook him to appoint Jose Mourinho appears to have convinced the Welshman to move elsewhere.
Giggs has spent his entire professional career at Old Trafford, both as a player and a coach.

Giggs was offered the chance to stay on as under-21 manager at United, but the 42-year-old appears to have been more attracted to having a chance to take charge at Forest.
The Mirror now suggest that Giggs could become Forest’s manager before the end of the week, with a deal close to completion.
