Nottingham Forest could reportedly be willing to let Arvin Appiah leave the City Ground.

Appiah is the one of the latest names catching the eye amongst the City Ground’s youth ranks. Forest continue to keep bringing these exciting youngsters through, and Appiah is certainly one starlet to keep an eye out for.
The 17-year-old – who was born four days after Chris Bart-Williams and David Prutton helped Forest to a 2-0 win away at Birmingham City in 2001 – made his professional debut this season, scoring in the 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat to Burton Albion.
But he may soon be allowed to leave the club. The Sun on Sunday (16/12; page 59) reports that Forest will may look to boost their transfer kitty by selling the teenager, but want at least £6 million.

Aitor Karanka has done a good job since arriving at the City Ground, and a win against Derby County on Monday would see Forest move up to fourth in the Championship.
But if there was one criticism of his tenure, it would perhaps be that he has not shown enough faith in the youngsters available to him. Ben Brereton was loaned out to Blackburn Rovers and could leave permanently, while Joe Worrall headed to Rangers for the season.

The youngest player to feature for Forest in the Championship is currently 21. It is not a strategy that is backfiring when you consider their league position, but if Karanka allows the youngsters to leave, then success on the pitch becomes even more imperative.
And that pressure on Karanka to deliver success will increase further if Appiah is sold in one of the coming windows.
