Nottingham Forest are reportedly willing to let the pair leave the City Ground this summer.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (1/9; page 63), Nottingham Forest plan to loan Arvin Appiah out before the transfer window shuts, while Liam Bridcutt could also be on the way out of the City Ground this summer.
Appiah is one of the most exciting young players in the Championship and already has a number of first-team appearances under his belt for Forest. However, game-time has proved to be a little more difficult to come by since Sabri Lamouchi’s arrival in the summer.
The 18-year-old’s only appearance of the campaign came in the Carabao Cup win against Fleetwood Town. Forest have a lot of quality in their ranks, so it could be a smart move to let him go out on loan in the coming hours with plenty of clubs said to be interested.
Meanwhile, another player who could be on the move is Bridcutt, with The Sun on Sunday (1/9; page 63) reporting that the midfielder could also leave before the deadline passes.

Bridcutt is yet to make an appearance for Forest this term. And while Appiah looks to have an incredibly bright future ahead of him with the Championship side, it would perhaps be fair to say that it would be a surprise to see the 30-year-old play for the club again.
He played just four times last season, with just one of those outings coming in the league. It looks to be best for all parties if Bridcutt could seal a move away that would allow the Scotland international to get his career back on track, while Forest offload a former first-team player from the wage bill.

Forest have made an encouraging start to the season. Their only defeat came on the opening day against West Brom, who appear to have a great chance of being in the promotion mix this term.
They went into the weekend clash with Preston North End off the back of a superb 3-0 win over Derby County in the cup. And while they did not beat the Lilywhites, the late equaliser would have provided a real boost ahead of the international break.
