Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant is being hunted by Bristol City, Wigan Athletic and Notts County.

According to a report in the Nottingham Post, Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant has attracted the attentions of three clubs, across the Football League.

Championship side Bristol City, League One contenders Wigan Athletic and League Two outfit Notts County are all interested in the 22-year-old.

Grant spent last season out on loan at Forest’s near neighbours, County, and he impressed at the County Ground.

Grant made 17 appearances for Kevin Nolan’s side, scoring six times and claiming three assists.

County are keen for him to return, but they could face an uphill battle, with higher placed clubs interested.

Bristol City are said to have been scouting Grant for some time, while Wigan are also thought to have an interest.

Grant’s future at Forest is currently very unclear, as the youngster has just weeks remaining on his deal at the City Ground.

And if Grant’s contract is allowed to expire, it seems that the prospect will have no trouble getting a new club.

If Grant does move on, Forest will be entitled to compensation, due to his age.
