Nottingham Forest are reportedly trying to sign the Watford starlet on loan, although Brentford and Ipswich Town are also said to be keen.
Nottingham Forest are making the first move to sign Watford’s Jerome Sinclair on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
Championship rivals Brentford and Ipswich Town are also said to be keen on the former Liverpool youngster, however Forest have reportedly followed up their interest with an offer.
Forest, despite being without a permanent manager after sacking Philippe Montanier earlier this month, are close to making a signing according to caretaker Gary Brazil (Nottingham Post). However, it is not yet known if Sinclair, who the report claims is available, is the Reds’ mystery recruit.

The Daily Mail reported earlier on Wednesday that Leicester’s Matty James is another player in Forest’s sights, although a move to Barnsley looks the more likely for the fit-again midfielder, who would replace the departed Henri Lansbury at the City Ground.
Sinclair only moved to Watford in the summer, despite Liverpool’s best efforts to keep him. However, the 20-year-old has featured only fleetingly for Walter Mazzarri’s side.

The Birmingham-born striker previously had a spell in the Championship with Wigan Athletic.
Would Sinclair be a good signing for Nottingham Forest, or are Brentford/Ipswich Town better suited?
