The Algerian spent 18 months at the City Ground and is known to former Boro boss Aitor Karanka.

Adele Guedioura could be poised for a third spell at Nottingham Forest, with the Daily Mail reporting that a deal is being put in place for the Middlesbrough midfielder.
The Algerian initially played for Forest on a six-month loan in 2012 and then spent a full season at the City Ground after joining on a permanent deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In total, the 32-year-old made 61 appearances for the Tricky Trees, becoming a fan favourite due to a string of long-range stunners, before leaving for Crystal Palace in 2013.
Guedioura has since struggled to establish himself in Premier League spells at Palace, Watford and Middlesbrough, for whom Forest boss Aitor Karanka signed him in the last January window.

The Daily Mail claims that Karanka wants to sign the midfielder, who has also only featured once for Boro in the Championship this season, again to bolster his Forest squad.
According to The Nottingham Post, Karanka had been targetting another of his former midfielders at Boro – Adam Clayton – but Guedioura might be more attainable this month.
