Nottingham Forest are said to be eager to snap up Asmir Begovic from Bournemouth

According to SDNA, Nottingham Forest are keen to sign Asmir Begovic from Bournemouth.
Forest boss Martin O’Neill has already suggested that he wants to make changes to his squad at the City Ground, and bringing in a new goalkeeper is now said to be a priority.
Forest stopper Costel Pantilimon has not been the most convincing this term, which has reportedly led O’Neill to look for a new number one.
Begovic has fallen out of favour at Bournemouth and could leave this summer, with Forest keen to snap him up.
The giant goalkeeper won the Premier League during his time with Chelsea, and has previously impressed at the top level.

If he was to take the drop down to Championship level he would surely be one of the finest goalkeepers in the second tier, and his arrival would highlight Forest’s ambition.
The Reds have invested heavily in recent years, and are expected to have a clear out this summer.
But Forest do still have funds to spend on improving their squad, and Begovic is reportedly on their radar.
