Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Wilfried Kanon from Ado Den Haag on January transfer deadline day, according to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 10:48am, Thursday, January 31, 2019).

It has been reported that Forest are holding talks today over the transfer of the 25-year-old central defender.

Good signing for Nottingham Forest?

Standing at 6ft 2in, the Ivory Coast international can operate as a central defender or as a left-back.

Kanon has been on the books of Ado Den Haag since 2013 and is a very experienced footballer, and the 25-year-old will enhance Forest’s chances of winning promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.
