According to a report by The Athletic, Nottingham Forest and a number of other clubs have already expressed an interest in taking Jack Clarke on loan next season.

The young winger joined Tottenham back in 2019 for a fee of £10m, but he’s yet to play a senior league game for Spurs, being loaned out on three separate occasions since joining the club.

Unfortunately, he’s not been able to re-capture the form that convinced Spurs that he was worth £10m a couple of years ago, but at the age of just 20, the potential is still there.

Clarke’s latest underwhelming loan spell has been with Stoke City where he has started just six games, and crafted just one assist.

It’s hard to envision him breaking into the Tottenham first-team next season, despite the fact Spurs will be under new management, so another loan seems very likely at this point.

Forest have been named as one of the clubs keen, but apparently, there are a number of teams who have registered an interest in bringing him in, so a move to the City Ground may not be all that straightforward.

It remains to be seen where Clarke plays his football next season, but early indications suggest that it won’t be at Tottenham Hotspur.
