Nottingham Forest could be about to bolster their goalkeeping options with a move for Costel Pantilimon.

According to the Daily Mail’s live transfer feed (30th January 2018; 15:07), Nottingham Forest are in talks with Costel Pantilimon about a potential late move to the City Ground during this window.

Pantilimon is currently on loan at La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna from Watford, but it has been a frustrating season for the Romanian, who has previously played in England with Manchester City and Sunderland before his move to Vicarage Road.

The 30-year-old has not played for Deportivo since November, and it appears that that appearance could potentially prove to be his final game for the club as the Mail suggests that he could be heading to the Championship for the rest of the season.

The Mail’s live transfer feed (30th January 2018; 15:07) reports that Forest are in talks about a move for the stopper as Aitor Karanka looks to bolster his options between the sticks – though the report does not suggest whether the deal would be permanent or on loan.
