Hector could become Nottingham Forest’s third summer capture.
Hector is said to have interest from an ‘array of clubs’ following an impressive spell at Eintracht Frankfurt last season.
However, with Chelsea closing in on a deal to sign Roma’s Antonio Rudiger, the 24-year-old’s chances of breaking into the Blues’ first team look slim.

Forest, it seems, are keen to pounce, and could offer Hector an easier route to regular game time – either in the centre of defence or in front of the back four.
The London-born Jamaican began his career at Reading, for whom he made 80 Championship appearances in between being loaned to 11 different clubs.

Nottingham Forest completed their second summer capture on Wednesday, with Rangers’ Barrie McKay following compatriot Jason Cummings to the City Ground.

Should Hector’s move to Forest go ahead, he could find himself partnering another ex-Chelsea defender, Michael Mancienne, at the heart of Mark Warburton’s defence.
Is Hector a good signing for Nottingham Forest, if it happens?
