The Hull City captain began his career at Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest will go back in for Hull City’s Michael Dawson in May, according to the Sun on Sunday [18th February printed edition, page 60].
The report claims Forest wanted to sign Dawson – who began his career at the City Ground, last month – and adds that the Reds have a two-year contract ready for the 34-year-old.
Dawson spent eight years on Nottingham Forest’s books before being sold to Tottenham Hotspur, alongside then teammate Andy Reid, in January 2005.
The former England international returned north to sign for Hull three-and-a-half years ago, and helped them to promotion via the Championship play-offs in 2016.

Hull will be powerless to prevent Dawson from leaving the KCOM Stadium this summer, with his contract set to expire.
And a return to Forest would surely appeal to the Yorkshireman, who made his first Hull appearance on Friday following his failed January move.
The Tigers are in serious danger of recording a second successive relegation.
