Nottingham Forest want to sign Leeds United target Che Adams from Southampton in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Ryan Taylor.
The Express reporter Taylor has claimed on Twitter that Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest have made enquiries to sign Adams from Southampton this summer.
This will come as a blow for Leeds, who have also been linked with the 26-year-old, described as “terrific” by Rangers legend and former Scotland international striker Ally McCoist in The Southern Daily Echo in March 2022.
The Sun reported on July 30 that Leeds are planning a bid for Adams and would be willing to pay £10 million for him.
Could Leeds or Nottingham Forest sign Che Adams?
In our view, Southampton could hold out for a big transfer fee for Che Adams amid interest from Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.

It is very likely that Forest, Leeds and Southampton all could be involved in a relegation battle this season.
Would the Saints really want to strengthen the Reds or the Whites by selling them Adams?
Money talks, of course, and we think that unless Southampton get a good offer for the 26-year-old, they will not sell him this summer.
Adams scored seven goals and gave three assists in the Premier League last season, and scored nine goals and provided five assists in the league in 2020-21.
