According to The Sunday Mirror (1/11, p65), Middlesbrough are now prepared to fight Nottingham Forest for West Bromwich Albion winger Kamil Grosicki.
Grosicki had agreed a move to Nottingham Forest before the EFL deadline, but an arbitration panel ruled that the paperwork missed the cut-off.
That means the Polish wide man is now stuck at West Brom at least until January, and Forest will likely be back in the market for Grosicki when the transfer window opens.
However, they now face a battle because Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock also wants to sign Grosicki on loan in January.
The 32-year-old is a bit-part player at West Brom, and can certainly be a force in the Championship based on his record last season.

Grosicki bagged seven goals and eight assists in 42 Championship games last season, split between his time at Hull City and West Brom.
Middlesbrough beat Forest 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, and may now leave Chris Hughton frustrated again by moving for Grosicki – a player Forest thought they had signed last month.
