Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen on Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan.

According to the Daily Mail, Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan this summer.

Forest are in need of new signings this summer having only survived relegation to League One on the final day of the Championship season, and manager Mark Warburton has already swooped to sign striker Jason Cummings from Hibernian.

Warburton will want to boost other areas of his squad, and a goalkeeper is believed to be on his wish list despite the encouraging displays of youngster Jordan Smith last season.

The Daily Mail report that Warburton will allow Vladimir Stojkovic to leave the City Ground this summer, and whilst he also has Stephen Henderson at his disposal, it’s claimed that he will make a move for Liverpool’s Adam Bogdan.

Bogdan, 29, made more than 100 appearances for Bolton Wanderers, where he worked with now-Forest Director of Football Frank McParland, meaning a reunion could be on the cards.

A Hungarian international with 20 caps to his name, Bogdan joined Liverpool in the summer of 2015, but made just six appearances before being sent out on loan to Wigan last term.

Bogdan suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in November 2016 and hasn’t played since, but Warburton is understood to have been tabs on his recovery ahead of a possible move.

Whilst Liverpool would almost certainly let Bogdan go permanently after two uneventful years at Anfield, it’s stated that Forest would want a season-long loan deal, which the Reds may also be open to.
