According to The Grimsby Telegraph, Nottingham Forest and Derby County are interested in signing Funso Ojo from Scunthorpe United in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Scunthorpe will only sell Ojo if they receive an offer that they cannot refuse.

Advantage Nottingham Forest?

According to The Grimsby Telegraph, Scunthorpe are interested in signing 21-year-old midfielder Ryan Yates from Forest in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that if Forest make a move for Ojo, then the League One club could push for the signing of Yates.

This could mean that Forest have an advantage over Championship rivals Derby regarding the reported pursuit of the 27-year-old defensive midfielder.
