Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing former Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier.
The Ivory Coast international is available on a free transfer following his release by Villarreal in Spain earlier this summer.
Aurier helped the Spanish outfit to a Champions League semi-final but they elected against signing him on a longer-term basis.
And according to RMC Sport in France, Nottingham Forest, the Premier League new boys, are interested in bringing the 29-year-old back to England.
The former Paris Saint-Germain right-back spent four years on Tottenham’s books, before being released last August.
The report has added that Steve Cooper’s outfit is the most appealing offer Aurier has received, with Reims and Nantes also interested.
This would be another high-profile addition by Forest.

How much have Nottingham Forest spent?
Cooper has made no fewer than 16 signings this summer, including a £42 million purchase of Morgan Gibbs-White earlier this week.
According to Sky Sports, the newly-promoted outfit have spent £145 million on players this summer.
Enormous investment has gone into ensuring they stay in the Premier League beyond their first season back in the top filght and bringing in someone like Aurier, with experience on these shores, could be a very decent decision.
There’s no doubt that Aurier has had his critics down the years, but Pep Guardiola labelled him ‘so good and fast‘ last year and coming from a manager of his vintage, well that’s a feather in the Ivorian’s cap for sure.
