According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are admirers of Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville.
The Dutch winger has been on the periphery of the Leeds squad for quite some time now, but sadly for the youngster, he’s rarely had a chance to prove himself in the senior set-up.
Summerville has previously tried to find a temporary move away from Elland Road, but as he enters the final year of his contract, he could now look for a permanent solution.
Forest are reportedly keen on the attacker, while Sheffield United are also interested in his services.
Summerville is an exciting young player who would certainly suit Forest.
Likened to Raheem Sterling, the diminutive winger has a real eye for goal, and you have to feel that he would complement Brennan Johnson very well in this Forest side.
Of course, as a newly-promoted side, Forest won’t really be able to afford to take risks on an unproven youngster like Summerville next season, so if he’s searching for regular football, perhaps a move to Bramall Lane would suit him more than the City Ground.
However, Steve Cooper has been known to show a lot of faith in youth during his time at both Forest and Swansea, so perhaps Summerville could become a Premier League regular on the banks of the Trent.
Leeds United won’t want to lose this young starlet, but if they can’t promise him a route into the first-team, he may be looking for an exit ahead of his contract expiring in 2023.
