Sam Byram is on loan at Championship outfit Nottingham Forest from Premier League side West Ham United.

Nottingham Forest are keen to keep West Ham United defender Sam Byram at the City Ground this summer, according to the Nottingham Post.
West Ham looked to have signed one of English football’s brightest young talents when they paid £3.7 million to bring Byram to London from Leeds United in January 2016, as reported by The Mail.
But after a series of injury problems which restricted his impact in claret and blue, the 25-year-old found himself back in the Championship last summer when he was farmed out on loan to Nottingham Forest.
Byram has also spent much of this season stuck on the sidelines but he has still made a positive impression in the East Midlands, despite making just his fifth league start for the club during Saturday’s 1-0 win away at Queens Park Rangers.

And the Post reports that Forest would love to keep hold of the Thurrock-born talent over the summer, though it remains to be seen whether the two time European Cup winners want a permanent deal or another season-long loan.
With West Ham looking to sign another right-back, it seems unlikely that they would stand in Byram’s way.
