Hervin Ongenda could reporteldy be heading to England from Romania with Hull City and Sabri Lamouchi’s Nottingham Forest interested.

Championship duo Nottingham Forest and Hull City are both interested in signing Hervin Ongenda from Romanian outfit Botosani, according to FootMercato.
Forest have really made their mark in the transfer window in recent weeks, rebuilding their side once again after deciding to replace Martin O’Neill with Sabri Lamouci. So far, six new players have arrived in the fortnight since the former Rennes coach was appointed, including Albert Adomah and ex-Benfica duo Alfa Semedo and Yuri Ribeiros.
After reinforcing the midfield and adding a much-needed left-back, their next priority should be a forward, especially with Daryl Murphy expected to leave the City Ground this summer.
And, according to FootMercato, Ongenda is on Forest’s radar. A 24-year-old Frenchman, Ongenda has had a nomadic career since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, failing to make an impact at Real Murcia and PEC Zwolle before making a shock switch to Botosani a year ago.

The former France U21 international scored just three times for the Romanian outfit last season, though he did find the net in 2019/20 opener against Astra Giurgiu on Saturday.
FootMercato claims that Hull City are also interested, alongside clubs from Italy, Belgium and Turkey, and Ongenda could be available for a cut-price fee with his contract expiring in 2020.
But given his rather underwhelming statistics in front of goal, Ongenda would arrive at the City Ground or the KCOM Stadium with a real point to prove.
