According to The Mirror, Norwich City wingers Jacob and Josh Murphy may look for new contracts worth £15,000-a-week as Everton look to sign them both.
The Murphy twins, 21, joined Norwich at the age of just seven, and have been touted as the club’s top young talents over the last few years.

Jacob had spent loan spells with Swindon Town, Southend United, Blackpool, Scunthorpe United, Colchester United and Coventry City before becoming a first-team player for the Canaries this season, whilst Josh’s spells on loan with Wigan Athletic and MK Dons saw him gain first-team experience.
Now important players under Alex Neil, both wingers have made an impression this season, with Jacob smashing five goals in just eight appearances, whilst Josh scored a stunning long-range gal against Everton in the EFL Cup last week.

Unfortunately for Norwich, their performances this season appear to have triggered major interest, as Everton are believed to be keen on landing both players.
The Mirror now report that, with interest from the Toffees, the Murphy twins are both looking for new contracts worth around £15,000-a-week – which may well test Norwich’s resolve to keep them at the club.

It’s stated that both players are currently on deals that increase by £1,000 for every five appearances they make up to £10,000, but with their contracts expiring at the end of the season, they now want a wage increase, and are inclined to stay if Norwich accept their demands even if Premier League clubs come calling.
Norwich allegedly have one-year options in both deals to ward off Everton, but if the players don’t get the contracts they want, then the Toffees may try their luck with a move during the January transfer window.
