Norwich City aren’t ready to give up Max Aarons just yet.

According to The Telegraph, Norwich City are planning a new deal for right back Max Aarons to keep him out of Tottenham Hotspur’s clutches.
The Canaries have clinched promotion back to the Premier League, and only need a point at Aston Villa on the final day of the season to be named champions.
Daniel Farke will be planning for his first Premier League season as a result, and whilst bringing in new signings will be key, keeping this exciting squad together will be important too.
Right back Aarons is one player who is attracting huge interest, and The Sun claim that Spurs are ready to ramp up their pursuit of Aarons with a £15million bid this summer.
Aarons, 19, is an exciting, pacey right back with real attacking quality, and the London-born defender would have been an ideal prospect for Spurs to nurture given Serge Aurier’s torrid time with the club.

Norwich haven’t waited long to offer some kind of response to the rumours though, as The Telegraph report that the Canaries will be offering Aarons a new deal to stay at Carrow Road.
Aarons may well feel that staying and playing regular first-team football with Norwich is better than making a move right now, especially with Premier League football returning to Norfolk – and Tottenham’s plan to lure Aarons back to the capital may already be in tatters.
