A report claims Husband is quitting Middlesbrough for Norwich City, despite interest from several other Championship clubs.
Norwich City are set to sign Middlesbrough’s James Husband in a £1 million deal, The Sun reports [11 July, page 51].
Norwich are said to have beaten several Championship rivals to the left-back’s signature, a year before his contract with Middlesbrough is due to expire.

Husband is well known to Canaries sporting director Stuart Webber, who signed him on loan for Huddersfield Town 18 months ago, and should replace Mitchell Dijks at Carrow Road after the East Anglian side declined to sign the former Ajax loanee permanently.
Husband joined Middlesbrough from Doncaster Rovers three years ago, but played only eight times for the Teessiders and missed much of their Premier League campaign with a shoulder injury.
The 23-year-old travels in the opposite direction to another Leeds native Jonny Howson, who left Norwich for Middlesbrough in a £4.8 million deal last week [Transfermarkt].

The Sun reports [11 July, page 51] that Boro have made a £4.5 million bid for Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
