Norwich City are set to complete the signing of Przemyslaw Placheta from Polish outfit Slask Warsaw, according to Weszlo.
While sporting director Stuart Webber accepts that mistakes were made during a disastrous and short-lived return to the Premier League, sending the Canaries into war ‘with no gun’, he is at least hard at work ensuring Daniel Farke has the ammunition to fire Norwich back into the top flight at the first time of asking.
Daniel Sinani, a winger with 24 goals for Dudelange in 2019/20, should add some attacking thrust to a side who went from threatening to toothless almost overnight.
And, in Jacob Lungi Sorensen, Norwich are about to sign a midfielder capable of providing a sheet of steel in front of a defence with all the resistance of warm spaghetti.
According to reports in his native Poland, Placheta is also on his way to Anglia in one of those typical Webber deals.

Like so many of Webber’s signings at Norwich and Huddersfield Town, Placheta is young, promising, technically gifted and, most importantly of all, cheap.
A 22-year-old winger who is effective on the left or the right, the Poland U21 international produced eight goals and five assists this season.
If Placheta and Sinani can adapt to life in England’s second tier, then perhaps the seemingly inevitable departure of Todd Cantwell can be dealt with after all.
And while Webber isn’t exactly ‘King of Anglia’ right now, to borrow a phrase from a certain Mid Morning Matters host, he has twice inspired promotion charges with some brilliant transfer dealings.
Who’s to say he cannot do it again?
