Norwich are lining up a £250,000 offer for Leyton Orient starlet Tristan Abrahams.

Norwich City are keen on signing Leyton Orient youngster Tristan Abrahams this summer after he impressed towards the latter stages of last season, reports the Eastern Daily Press.

Abrahams is a product of the O’s youth academy and broke into the first team at the end of 2016/17, scoring two goals in nine League Two appearances.

The 18-year-old could not stop the East London side getting relegated and ending a 112-year stay in the EFL, but clearly did enough to attract the attention of the Canaries.

The Norfolk club are considering a £250,000 offer, including performance-related add-ons, to bring Abrahams to Carrow Road where he will initially join their Under-23s side.

The teenager signed a two-year professional contract with Orient in November 2016 and was then sent on loan to non-league Cambridge City, where he made four appearances.

There has also been speculation that Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on the striker, but his manager Steve Davis says there have been no offers as yet.

“There is some speculation at the moment regarding Tristan, but I have had no contact with anyone,” Davis told the East London Advertiser.

“If you have got young players people are going to look at them and there is probably four or five in that category anyway that people will speculate about or come and watch.

“Tristan has been the centre of attention recently and he has a lot of ability, but for me he is not quite ready to move on yet. He needs longer here and to learn the game a little bit more and I am sure I can help him do that.”
